In November, Sanibel Island, Florida welcomes the 22nd Annual American Sand sculpting Championship Festival. This competition brings in the best sand sculptors throughout the country. The Sanibel Luminary Festival is also held in November and will hold locals over until the Captive Luminary Festival in December. These festivals both contain wondrous holiday lights and refreshments.
